Anne Neville studied Drama at Bristol University and did graduate work in Leeds and the USA.

Qualifying as a therapist, she then had a career working with communication disordered children and found in their language a poetry which statistics and checklists disregarded.

In retirement she is grasping the opportunities for development and performance which Manchester offers to playwrights of any age.
